I've had a few JLCs but this is as close to a current model as I've ever had.

I admit I'm more attracted to vintage and, with the exception of my first Rolex back in the 80s, I always buy my watches used. Actually, I buy almost everything pre-owned -- artwork, furniture, cars, or any number of other collections I've accumulated over the decades. In fact, almost everything I own was purchased at auctions, estate sales, or antique shops and shows. So this watch, with its vintage styling, is perfect for me.

I'll also say Nicolas has been very influential in my decision in choosing a JLC, even though he has no idea he influenced me. It's all because of his JLC posts. He's done a wonderful job extolling the virtues of the brand over the years -- and I noticed. So, thank you, Nicolas! Without your posts I wouldn't own this JLC today.
