Nicolas, a distinguished collector, presents a captivating 'family shot' of his vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre military watches, a testament to the rewarding yet challenging pursuit of assembling such a specialized collection. His post invites readers to appreciate the historical significance and unique design language of these robust timepieces, many of which are now considered exceptionally rare.

Can you develop more on the models ? I noticed the Pocket GSTP watch, the Weems, the Dirty Dozen, I don't know the others (one looks like the IWC Mark 11) ? Great collection, congrats !
These are rare birds…extinct rare birds. Wish JLC can revisit these designs. A simple Dirty Dozen reissue, with a nice movement, is all it takes. That being said, I have newfound respect for the Mariner Perpetual Calender. That is a gem. I find myself thinking of it sometimes.
Man, every time you post your vintage JLC, you make my day Nico. Thank you. I love watches with numerical indexes. I think it is an art of its own. Maybe because I have a bad handwritings. 😂
