.. Spring is always a very nice time of the year, to make short visits
- to see some good friends and do some " watching" in a relaxed little GTG..

This time no difference: was furtunate to again see our kind moderator, Nicolas,
for some short encounter, with nice discussions, some photo sessions, and
a relaxed chill out on the Seine, followed by a nice dinner..

So I just thought to share some spring impressions and a quick shot,
from a new acquisition, which came into my house recently, but
including my latest find, chaperonized by my friend

I always had an unfullfilled little gap in my small collection, dealing
with JLC/LC Militarys, with their pedigree, their history and strong charm

- Thus, it had been a welcome happening, that I had been first falling on
a British Mark VII / Weems with a spectacular NOS dial in great condition

- and secondly being able to complement her with my newest ad-on,
a JLC WWW - MOD ( Ministry of Defense) modification , with an interesting dial..
Some may have read Nicolas short picture review about that watch, some time ago

So, without much further ado, here are the two Military JLC Classics
after some coffee and Croissants on a spring morning..

Close by.. A recreational nice garden nearby

How did Nicolas just today put it".. Yes, these military JLCs have really something
which is difficult to put in words. Charm, maybe?" ...
-- Yes, very much so, very well put, my friend !!

Unobtrusive but strong presence of the WWW

What's next.. Something we often ask ..

Yes, there always will be new targets, new desires, some downs, but many Ups
- And exactly these are fostered by friendship and meetings in person,
now matter how short they may be..

Hope you liked my little spring encounter, which was part of a great short GTG
with a very good friend , in his home town of Paris !

- Thank you for having me and for this quality time,
these nice hours spent together !

My best with sincere spring- time greetings

And congratulations as well, on this veeery interesting WWW, and its MOD dial. You built, over the years, a very nice and impressive collection of Vintage JLCs, I must say. And, as always, you are welcome, here. But I am surprised you didn't mentions the " macarons "... ;) Best, Nicolas

.. and also a big pleasure ! Also it is a permanent reason to learn, read and look at, on occasions such as this again, which I always enjoy ! As per the " macrons", you're absolutely right - these were tempting, and delicious ( so was the dinner..). - - Coming from a country, known for its desserts & sweets, that is appreciated a lot !! Thanks a lot again, - as always was pure pleasure ! Looking forward to future re-living occasions , hopefully in the near future ! My truly best, hs

And strong cool pair of watches! :) So, you are working the MIL theme, my friend? That is a great theme. Add a Mk 7 and a Mk 11 and you will almost be complete ... Best Blomman

Well, I somehow "stumbled" into it, but not without pleasure : - It started with a MK 11, but from IWC; next are the two here.. Thus, a beginning is there ! :) Best, my friend ! hs
