Friends,
some of you might remember, it's mostly on Sundays, when I think a little bit on the next upcoming week in regard to my tic-tacs getting some fresh air..

As also most meetings, events, going out and also sporty activities are pretty much defined, I frequently spend some minute or so, into which tic-tacs to take.

Normally I select 3-4 watches, one of them always a "stronger boy", one for dressing up occasions such as theatre, or concerts, and finally the little choice for going out with friends or just me & my wife..

As the last week already saw some " old trustworthies", I am about to decide my choices, which will be somewhat different:

So I'd like to just humbly share this weeks personal motto of "3 Black Knights" plus a no-nonsense piece, which would be molding in, pretty much wherever I go..

As during the last weeks, when Rolex was the predominant choice,
it is going to be "only" JLC, still my main line of watch interests.

Memovox International ( WT) - 2010

Really like the low-key, but sophisticated appeal, where the cities on the
dial are more of an indication, rather than a complication..

Next one.. Hmmh.. Need something for "smart" dressed occasion, and one
theatre; a choice which should also be a good day companion,
but ready to go out

Vintage Black Memovox E855, one of my JLC MMV favs

Is a really cool piece, never to much, ready for a business appointment
and to go into a theatre play. - Also like the dark grey elephant strap..

Master Compressor Memovox (MCM, 2007)

Here the card of a bit more robustness is played;
very nice feel on the wrist, and again an alarm.

Really like this one, which IMHO, in the time
of its rather short production, went a bit underrated and still might be..

I still love this bold, almost avantgarde design,
the marked compressor case & crown appeal;

Well - to me great handwriting & design by Megali Metrailler,
if I remember correctly.

Little group picture

Three Black Knights

Similiar in some design elements, all with an alarm
( I love alarms and do use them !), but distinctly different.

Finally, and to come to an end, here a "Universalist" with a twist,
in a little flowery Collage..

Here some late spring/early summer greetings !

Here my Rolex 5513, Meters first,
with a faded bezel/insert

Hope you liked my "Little Black Knight Trio & a Boy"

I do - and know, I will enjoy them in the upcoming week

My very Best,
hs smile smile

About the Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox Ref. MemovoxE855

The Memovox E855 is a notable iteration within the Memovox family, recognized for its alarm complication and often associated with designs from the 1970s. This reference represents a period when Jaeger LeCoultre explored various aesthetic expressions for its alarm watches, appealing to collectors interested in the brand's mid-century output. It stands as an example of the Memovox's enduring appeal as a functional and distinctive timepiece.

This reference typically features a case, often in stainless steel, housing an automatic movement. The specific caliber, such as the K825 or 825, is known for its dual-crown system, one for time setting and winding, and the other for setting and winding the alarm function. The case diameter is commonly around 37mm, and it is fitted with a crystal, often acrylic, protecting a dial that frequently includes a rotating inner disc for the alarm setting.

For collectors, the Memovox E855 is valued for its mechanical alarm complication and its place in the lineage of Jaeger LeCoultre's alarm watches. Its variations in dial design and case materials offer diversity for those assembling a collection of Memovox models. The E855 appeals to enthusiasts who appreciate the brand's technical innovations and the distinct character of its alarm timepieces from this era.

I never warmed on the Memo International, strangely.

Maybe because of the Date? I would also have preferred a radial position of the cities, rather than this disposition. Now, the two others, what can I say? I miss my MC Memo, and the E 855 black is a must have. Best, my friend. Nicolas

Well.. In fact, my friend.. The MMV Int'l pretty was a safe queen with me, also..

.. which in the end caused me to pass it on to a friend by begin of this July. Hence, it will be one of the last weeks, when I\'m going to wear her a bit.. But it will not change my mind until then, as the funds have been going well-used in some bigger project, you know of.. Padawan was listening to the Master about maturation & condensation. Thx & Best, hs

With big pleasure, my friend !.. It truly was a "rejuvenation" - the dial now really pops up, IMO..

Great little detail, big improvement.. Next time I will apply for a Double Shot with yours ( with the Pat. Pend. technique) next time, pls. Here is the "new" marvel : A great face now, IMO Really, love it ! Ths, the "project" is established. ( Next is keeping eyes open for crowns, or a booklet, or...) Best, my friend hs
