Nicolas, known as amanico on WatchProSite, presents a compelling visual comparison between two significant Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox references: the vintage Memovox Parking from 1958 and the modern Memovox Timer from 2020. His personal reflection on owning one and considering the other offers a unique perspective on the evolution of this iconic alarm complication. This comparison is invaluable for collectors interested in the historical lineage and contemporary interpretations of JLC's horological legacy.

35 mm, manual winding movement, solid case back and no date for the vintage, 40 mm case automatic movement, see through case back and date for the modern.

The Grandfather and the grandson.

Aaah, another difference: One I own ( the vintage ) , the other I am still considering ( the " Timer " ).

I love this picture!

Best,

Nicolas

Except the date. If it is a must, why cant it be in matching background-dial blue.๐Ÿ˜ค
