With the platinum case blue dial, this steel black dial from the late 90ies is my favorite.

The black dial gives a charming presence to this dressy and discrete watch, whose case is 34 mm big and 5, 75 mm high.

Of course, since, we saw thinner models from JLC, like the MUT 39 Jubilé and its 4, 05 mm very thin case, or even better, the MUT 38 Enamel Skeleton from this year, which is much thinner, with a remarkable 3, 6 mm!

Still, this black dialed version of the first modern ultra thin watch is captivating.

Character, presence, elegance and discretion, this watch is pure alchemy.

Without forgetting the back side, something we would love to see more often in the current horological production:

Cal 849, only 1, 85 mm high!

When fine horology doesn't require you sell your house...

Best,

Nicolas.

Not at all. An elegant watch must be reasonably sized. 34 mm is good enough. Try it! [nt]

Don't worry about figures, I wear it as easily as my XGT Reverso Grande Reserve! Try it and you'll be convinced! Best, É [nt]

Stunning watches that don't require us to sell our house or body parts

Many JLC offerings qualify for that statement Nico. That is why since I got my first JLC, this brand has stayed as my top 3 fav brands since Cheers Robin
