Simple but refined pleasures of Life.

The charm and the fatal attraction of a 34 mm ultra thin case,

And the satisfaction of having a great movement inside, the Cal 849.

The rose gold black dial is not shabby, either.

That's the good thing with this brand, there are treasures everywhere!

Best,

Nicolas

At the risk of causing you to fall in love and a possible heart attack, Nico (😂) I’ll confess that I also own a.…JLC! And it totally looks like this one!😄😉

I’m not too outspoken about it for the simple reason the first and last time I wore my JLC (I believe, dial aside, it’s the same reference in steel?) was as best man at one of my friends’ weddings — I even remember the date, June 2007!😄 Given that it brought good luck (?!) to the guy, who’s still married 15+ years later (a unique mix between a saint and a nutjob)…maybe I’ll pull it off the safe next summer?😉 Cheers.

in a world

where enthusiasts long for mega robust beaters and divers or ultra-complicated watches the 34mm still represents the essence of great watchmaking. Here's my little treasure!

" The essence of great watchmaking ". How true! Did you know that the MUT was assembled in the spécialités horlogères workshop?

yes I knew,

but it still sounds incredible, as one only thinks of great complications of being difficult to create.

You are right, simple is often difficult to make and to reach.
