Nicolas, known as amanico, provides a comparative overview of three significant Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin models, highlighting their evolution in size and design. His post invites collectors to appreciate the subtle yet impactful differences across these references, particularly focusing on case thickness and dial aesthetics. This discussion remains relevant for understanding JLC's enduring commitment to ultra-thin watchmaking.
... not that I have the opportunity to own one, but the case and the dial together are so appealing. Having handled it once before at a JLC event, it certainly was a svelte stunner!
the 1833 with the chocolate dial and strap was "delicious." In "classic" watches, I find JLC unbeatable (even against Piaget). -Dean
Not so sure about the dots of the other two, as i Am not sure they bring much. Are they visible in the dark? Nicolas, your comment on the couteau dials is interesting. Would you have side views and back views of all watches? I presumed that at least first and last were quite similar in shape and conception. All the best, E.
Here is a side pic of the MUT Jubilé: Quite spectacular! Best, Etienne.
Hi While they're all rather appealing - its the first you mention, the 34mm that really appeals to me. I know its rather small by current standards - but the times I've tried one its always worn a lot larger. Small and elegant. Still not pulled the trigger on one yet - but at some point I'm sure one will come my way. Cheers JML
Not that I own one but the memory of handling on lingers.... Simply spectacular :
