Amanico's original post showcases the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master 8 Days Perpetual Calendar Skeleton in platinum, a timepiece he owned over 16 years ago. This article delves into the aesthetic and functional intricacies of this exceptional reference, exploring why such a horological marvel continues to captivate collectors and spark discussion about legibility versus artistic expression in watchmaking.

With a super cool skeletonized grid pattern for the bridge/plate on the back. Very special.
I wish the subdials were a smoked crystal or something to add contrast so easier to read
Impossible to tell the time with, I suspect, but still looks awesome. The Arnold & Son Time Pyramid is likewise beautiful and marginally legible, but I love watches like this anyway. I appreciate that you have to take a moment to examine the (not) dial to tell the time. ;-D Thanks for posting this one!
If this was a birthday present to self ๐ Would certainly add it to our wish list for you ๐๐๐๐
Sadly not so much if you actually wanted to tell the time, or use any of the other myriad functionsโฆ.
hard to read the dial.
