Amanico's five-year reflection on his Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Minute Repeater Titanium offers a unique perspective on living with a grand complication. His post explores the dual pleasures of the watch's acoustic trigger and the visual ballet of its hammers, prompting readers to consider the emotional connection to such a significant timepiece. This article delves into the community's appreciation for JLC's innovative approach to a traditionally austere complication.

5 years, exactly five years that I still don't know which side I prefer.

The left, with the trigger, which is a promise of acoustical pleasure:

Or the right side, which offers a ballet of hammers:

One thing is sure, it is a worldwide pleasure to live with such a watch, as I brought it with me anywere I went, evne in the most unexpected places.

I didn't count the times I played with the trigger, but I can tell you that it is a lot of times.

Does Poetry know some limits?

This is not my conception of a watch, even if it is a noble complication.

No fears, only pleasure and love.

Which is the most important when it comes to a watch, don't you think?

The only downside is that when you make it ring early in the morning, you will hear a " Hey, do you want me to throw it through the window "?

wink

Best,

Nicolas

I love to see the hammers at play even if the left side has its own interest too. The hammers remind us that striking watches are close to automatons. Thanks for the pics. Fx
