There are watches which provide you such strong feelings that many years after, you are still able to remember when how and where you got them.

The JLC Master Minute Repeater in Titanium is one of them, undisputably.

I still have in mind the doubts I had about that Watch, as it took me a long time to decide on which one I would like to go, between the platinum and the titanium.

Or hesitating between a more conventional one, such as a Vacheron Constantin, for example. I wondered if the young look of the JLC would not bother me after a while, compared to a more conservative design.

But since I made my mind, I never regretted my choice. Unveiled in 2006, this MMR Ti looks like it is part of the 2015 collection. It didn't loose its modernity, at the exception of the case which is, in my opinion, the less attractive part of this Watch, a bit outdated, to speak frankly.

I also  remember the first sleepless nights looking at it, and, of course, listening to it. When I write " sleepless ", I mean literally.

It was 8 years ago, day for day. 8 years of pride, happiness... Love. And an everlasting one.

Another thing time told me is that this Watch is very reliable. I gave it twice to the Manufacture: Once because I played with it so many times that I wanted to be sure everything was ok, after two or three years, and the second time, it was to tune the sound, to make it sound less loud but richer.

In 8 years, this is certainly one of the watches I wore and still wear the most.

To celebrate this birthday, it was time to take a fresh picture of it, with the appropiate background, to enhance its musicality.

That is what I like, with Jaeger-Lecoultre: some audacious offers.

Best,

Nicolas

and you're a lucky guy to have done it with this very nice watch. I have ever only seen this in pictures, and only yours too, I might add, and this is the one watch I remember you by and associate with you. Congratulations on the long and evidently very happy relationship!
