Amanico revisits the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Minute Repeater in platinum, a watch unveiled in 2005 that profoundly influenced his perception of the brand. He reflects on JLC's innovative period from 2002-2007, marked by creations like the Gyrotourbillon One and Reverso Ă  Triptyque, and posits the Master Minute Repeater as a benchmark for future JLC designs.

One shot taken in 2015, at the Manufacture, of a watch which inspired and made me dream a lot since it was unveiled, in 2005.

Think about it... While we were living the reign of the Master Compressor ( 2002 ) and some Reverso in platinum ( XGT with the Septantième / GT With the Reverso Platinum Nr 1, Nr 2 and Tourbillon Skeleton ), the birth of the Amvox line in 2004, Jaeger Lecoultre really had a mad time with awesome creations, such as the Gyrotourbillon One in 2004, the Master Minute Repeater in 2005, the Reverso Ă  Triptyque in 2006 and the Duometre in 2007...

The Master Minute Repeater in platinum was one of these first mad creations which gave a strong impression to watch lovers.

One of these watches which made me rediscover the brand. A new face of the brand.

Hence this picture.

Revisiting a noble and traditional complication in a fresh, young and crazy way... That's something we would like to see... Again.

In my opinion, this Master Minute Repeater is the way to follow...

Best,

Nicolas

A very respected complication (the ultimate?), a crazy power reserve (15 days, unique model with that feature in JLC?), some technical information (torque meter, not sure what it brings but as well as the time you can give the torque of the moment ), all this fitted in a nice and not too big case. Technically it is a tour de force, and its design still fits perfectly in the classic JLC collection. A watch that does not leave one speechless! Nice photo! Have there been many issues? Best, É.

This is a marvel beaut force from the amazing JLC. I’ve considered moving in one of these recently.

my love affair with JLC begins in 2003 and on this forum in 2004. Finally buying the MCM early 2005.Those years you mention was a long period with lots of creatively, successful designs that pushed design to new heights. Also lots of great things happening in the reverso line. I really felt JLC stood out from the rest. ❤️ And Once you started digging in to the history of the brand, one treasure after the other, only known to few very specialized collectors, came out. My respect and love for JLC

My mind races to wonder of how super high technical this HM might be

Do you mean you would just like a simple Gyrotourbillon? What case design
