Emmanuel, known as quattro on WatchProSite, elevates the discussion around the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater. While previous reviews offered initial impressions, Emmanuel's contribution provides invaluable live photos and wrist shots from an actual owner, offering a rare, intimate perspective on these highly limited timepieces. His post allows collectors to appreciate the intricate details and on-wrist presence of both the blue 'flinqué' enamel and silvery grained dial variants.

Both variants of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater, introduced in 2019, have been well reviewed with great photos by amanico here and here.

But I just wanted to add some live photos of an actual owner (@anomegaaday) and some wrist shots and close-ups.

The white gold case is 43 x 13.7 mm. The watch is powered by self-winding Caliber 950, made of 585 parts and 76 jewels and beating at 4 Hz. The power reserve is of only 38 hours.

As far as the minute repeater mechanism is concerned, blued steel gongs encircle both the front and the back of the movement, making them much longer than the average repeater gong which only goes around the movement once. Striking these gongs are a pair of special trebuchet hammers, which strike with more power than regular hammers.

Each of the two variants is limited to 30 pieces.

Notice the cut-outs at the base of the dauphine hands to prevent obfuscation of the safety indicator. And admire everything else!

NB: the his & hers wrist shot includes a pretty gorgeous Reverso One Duetto Moon, ref. Q3358120 (40.1 x 20 mm). And the minute repeater can be listened to here and here and also here.

Best to you all,
Emmanuel

The white dial is my clear favorite. I love the look of the upper blue gong at the perimeter of the dial. Thanks again Emmanuel. M4 p.s. You're right, the Reverso is stunning as well.

But now I'm not so sure at all: the more I've been looking at the photos, the more the blue flinqué dial has been getting under my skin... I find it very impressive to see such a watch actually worn and not just displayed or reviewed. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend. Best, Emmanuel

Thanks for sharing all these photos! Never seen these grails in the metal before. Cheers Robin

Breathtaking masterpiece but as previous commenters, the white dial is my pick…

As impressive as it is, the Duomètre sphérotpurbillon isn’t very much my cup of tea because I’m not fond of open dials. And, as far as the minute repeater is concerned, I too was more attracted to the white dial in the first place. But now, I’m not sure at all: the blue flinqué dial might be my favorite after all (but I’ve seen neither in real life). Have a great weekend, Emmanuel
