Nicolas (amanico) shares an exclusive look at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater Perpetual, a timepiece that masterfully combines two of horology's most revered complications. His initial impressions highlight the watch's exceptional acoustic qualities and the innovative design of its automatic movement. This article delves into the details that make this reference a standout in JLC's high-complication offerings.

I still have to take some pictures of the white dialed version, which will become my favorite.

The most impressive detail on that watch? The sound of the minute repeater, striking loud and very rich.

The other very interesting thing is the movement. Jaeger Lecoultre brilliantly demonstrated that automatic can be beautiful.

The Cal 950 with its hidden rotor.

Best,

Nicolas

I’m so impressed with this new style of blue ray dials for some models. I’ve seen a few in the metal and they were stunning.
