Here is my first " quick view " on the 2020 Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication.

At the time I wrote that post, I didn't have the pictures of the White Gold version. Jaeger Lecoultre sent me the official photos, and some additional photos of the rose gold.

Here they are:

And the White Gold, which has a jeweled bezel...

Alas! As I would have loved to see it not jeweled! It would have been purer, in my opinion.

What do you think?

Best,

Nicolas

The view of the movement is not really to my taste, however. I think I would prefer if it had more contrast in color or texture. (And no diamonds, please.)

Was that the Corbomite Maneuver? I can't remember

...would be the best version imo. And the filigree looks nice, but the skychart gets almost useless then - not many constellations to see any more... That‘s why I prefer the former versions without filigree... Just my opinion.

the sky chart seems smaller and blue dial is not done like the previous version where there is a depth to the blue colour. The filigree is really an excellent addition. It gives the dial a substantial 3rd dimension. I like it very much. It looks really fancy on a watch dial. I have no problem with the diamonds on the bezel for the white gold version. They are not too obtrusive IMO. I hardly notice it after a while. The other change I noticed is the "sun" indicator that goes round every 24 hours.
