MDT's discovery of a rare variant with Russian script highlights the depth of JLC's catalog and the intricate details that captivate enthusiasts.

Is it as special or significant in person as it appears? Wonder, was it 75 total made of white gold? I believe in 2015 they issued in red gold. Maybe another 75 ?
No minute repeater but it has over 5 carats of diamonds. Anyone understand the reverse 24h scale on the rehaut?
I would like to see a speeded up video of this to see what is rotating on the dial and watch how the tourbillon rotate around the centre axis. Amazing horology and imagination.
There is a new Tim Mosso video that dropped last week on one that the 1916 Company has for sale. He said their specific watch for sale is in ‘Greek’, however multiple commentators said itd actually in Russian. I found an ad for one that sold in US previously that mentioned theirs was one of 6 or 7 in Russian.
Just saw it in person. Absolutely stunning piece. Definitely all the dial side writing (months and constellation names) for this particular watch was in Russian language. Interesting tidbit - separately numbered on the back as an edition of 7 (for Russian market presumably). So says No. X of 7. This must thus be in addition to the 75 made, as they say No. X of 75. Loved the piece. Wish however I could read month and constellation names
I would be doing ‘man math’ to figure out how to make it happen. It is a very moving piece.
