Forum member hoseachandra recently brought to light a curious anomaly on a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Sector Dial, sparking a lively discussion among collectors. His keen observation of a minute marker near the date window, appearing unusually long and interrupted, prompted a community-wide examination of potential manufacturing inconsistencies. This thread delves into the nuances of quality control for luxury timepieces and the discerning eye of the collector.

It is a pretty watch though. I do wish the lume hadn't fallen out of the hands as well. Sorry.... Seriously though, If I found that on my watch, I might actually like the uniqueness of it.
Previous marker also shows it. But Automatic is spelt wrong - I agree π
Even if that is crystal scratch, still does not explain why the marker is longer than the rest.
looks to be the same size as the part that makes the printed indice longer. Looks like it cracked and moved a bit more to the centre of the dial
I also saw the uneven paint between minute 47 and 48. Then again at minute 52 an 56. The inconsistency is not good for a Maison , especially with their current price.
...one of the few French words I know. Does 'Oo la la' count?
