When I find a watch that truly serves my purpose, I wear it incessantly. I had a Patek Philippe 3940 that I wore nearly every day for over a decade. That watch was worn by me all over the World in all kinds of weather. I would be wearing it still except that it became too difficult for me to read. Now I am onto a Patek Philippe 5320. But that was back before I would say I was a collector, just wore a watch to tell time. Although I did collect vintage pieces before that but eventually sold them all before starting to collect again the early 2000s. At this point in my life I prefer under the radar, which is why my Rolexes hardly see wrist time these days. Thanks for your response.
It's a great model. JLC's Master Control line from the late 90's / early 2000's was fantastic.
I liked it better than the moon phase version. I had to buy the bracelet separately Really luxurious on the wrist and very pleasing to look at. Don't feel guilty when a JLC asserts itself in your watch box.
such a great piece and the forerunner up to the Master Moon. Even though the 5-link bracelet looks more in touch with modern times, the "rice grain" style of bracelet is MUCH more comfortable and doesn't show scratches nearly as easily. Congrats on a 25 year classic! -Dean
