Spectacular from the front side:

But also from the back side,

The main asset of this watch is not only from its aesthetics, but also and mainly from its high level of innovation:

- The case is made in Titanium Grade 5, the middle part of the case in carbon, and the bezel in silicon.

- The suspended movement is lubricant free. The bridges are in Ticalium, a blend of aluminium and titanium. The bearings are in easium. The pallet is in black diamond, The tourbillon carriage is in magnesium.

- The rotor is made of irridium and platinum, and carbon for the arms.

The functions are: GMT / AM PM indicator / a radial date which jumps from 15th to 16th over the Tourbillon.

One of the most innovative watch from La Grande Maison, and one of the rarest, too, with only 3 to 5 made per year since 2007 and for a few years, only.

A legend!

Best,

Nicolas

...If I was going for a 'tech' watch, this would be in the running.

While we only got the EL2 into serial production, the original is a lot of tech heft.

Both the EL1 and EL2 are some of JLCs best. Hope we don't have to wait too long for an EL3!

Quite the exotic ‘tool watch’ !! For the exotic consumer only.!!!! How would its antimagnetic qualities compare to the Rolex Milgauss using carbon, silicon, titanium, and the less common exotic materials.??? Great looking.
