Amanico's 2019 post revisits the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master 8 Days, a significant release from 2003 that brought an impressive power reserve to manual-winding movements. His detailed presentation of various limited editions, including the platinum 'Antoine LeCoultre' and steel versions, highlights the enduring appeal and technical prowess of this reference.

I didn't know either of the limited series. Thank you. M4
JLC changed the look of their Master Control range with a thicker bezel and different hands. I like the look of the black one best although I’m not a fan of power reserve indicators. Nice to see them. Regards Kev.
Thanks. I'm smitten by the day/night display which is similar or identical to the display on my old Master Hometime. Another watch I should not have sold. M4
Firstly, a BIg Congrats Nicolas on passing your 200k post! Your posts are always very enjoyable to read and your photos are superb too! Thanks a lot for your time and effort in sharing your passion and knowledge with us, I have learnt lots from you. I have not posted for a long time, but still a regular viewer of this awesome site=) My Master 8 Days is in Stainless Steel with a silver sunburst dial. Love the swan neck regulator and the côtes soleillées layout of the Cal. 877 manual winding movem
many years ago, but would have jumped at the opportunity of the black dialed version. How about a new piece with a new case, the same calibre with time only and the power reserve on the back? That would make me leap for sure.
That is why they used the most appropriate tag line ‘ Have you ever worn a real watch’ alas JlC is a adrift as of now.
