Amanico shares his profound admiration for the Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time, highlighting its significance within JLC's travel watch lineage. He praises its Caliber 772, featuring a world time and dead beat seconds complication, along with its distinctive dial and case design. This post invites the community to discuss what makes this timepiece a standout 'King of Cool' in the realm of world timers.

... that in spite of the fact I strongly criticized its dial for those two ugly screw heads this watch has been growing in my mind lately and I finally inscribed in my wish list too. A very attractive and interesting offering by JLC indeed... in spite of those screws! All the best mi amigo! Abel
Nowadays is not under my radar, but maybe in the future, who knows? Beautiful pictures btw, as always👍
I may have mentioned already that I dislike world timers that feature a printed map of the world on the dial. To my eye it really cheapens the piece. (Artistic enamel work is a different story because it is a true artistic handicraft.). But just a map printed on the dial with no functionality or artistic merit. Nah. Not for me. LOL!
... sharing these beautiful pictures! Abrazos amigo mio!! Abel
I like the Geophysic series and the dead second function but I have difficulty discerning the hands from the dial in this WT. Maybe a little more contrast between hands and dial would help. That's why I like the simpler blue dial more. /W72
I have admired this piece since I first saw it. Though, never in the flesh. A different animal than the iconic PP WT family. A beauty!! Steve
