Dave G shares his swift acquisition of the limited edition Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second with a blue dial, highlighting the evolving landscape of luxury watch purchasing through online channels. His post offers a firsthand account of the experience, contrasting it with traditional boutique interactions while appreciating the efficiency of direct-from-manufacture delivery.

This is the most desirable version of that model, and I think it's what the True Second should have been from the beginning (i.e., more invention, less tribute). While blue is very popular at the moment, I don't think that it will lose its appeal with time. My Grande Memovox from 2001 has a metallic blue dial, and it's just as handsome today as it was back them. Wear your new Geophysic in great health! Best, Tim
A truly gorgeous piece!
Wear it in the best of your health. Best wishes Alkiro
I always loved the original True Seconds with the silver grainy dial but I always found that watch to be a bit too classic / dress watch for my needs. This one looks a bit more casual, is that true in the flesh? Enjoy
