Amanico shares his excitement upon discovering another Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Crosshairs, a rare vintage find. Despite owning one already, he details the superb condition of this new acquisition, noting its dial, hands, and case, while acknowledging the common issue of a less-than-perfect plexiglass.

Back form my monthly watch shopping, I was speechless when I fell on this Geophysic Cross Hairs.

Superb dial, good hands, the plexy is not good, which is the case for most of those we find, dust cover and a quite good case.

It has been a very long time since I fell on another Crosshairs than mine. Well, a vintage Geophysic is not an every day bird, also.

It is worth some pics, don't you think?

Magic. Even for a Geophysic owner.

Still looking for one with a dial in bad condition, to install the one I have and to make the pair. wink

Best,

Nicolas.

No, I have a silly rule. I never buy the same watch twice.

But, now, if I could find one with a dial in poor condition, I would get it to install the other dial I have, which is a different and more famous configuration. But two SS crosshairs Geophysics, no. Not for me. I' am happy enough with mine. Best, CC. Nicolas

Makes perfect sense,

I would avoid too buying the exact watch twice as well, different dial version or different metal is of course another story ;)

Yes, I followed that rule for some watches, such as the JLC Polarises or DSAs.

Or the Rolex GMT Master, but twice strictly the same, well, I let that to our swedish friend. ;) Best, Nicolas

Aahhhh.. A very nice surprise !.. Lucky you or whoever will have the chance to see and probably grab her !.. BTW: your little problem & quest ( for a bad dial) seems a nice problem to have ;)) [nt]
