Amanico (Nicolas) brings to light the often-overlooked Jaeger-LeCoultre Geomatic, positioning it as a significant historical reference that deserves greater recognition beyond the shadow of its more famous sibling, the Geophysic. His detailed post, complete with stunning visuals of various Geomatic models and their accompanying ephemera, makes a compelling case for this chronometer-certified timepiece. This article explores why the Geomatic, with its reliable movements and classic design, remains a hidden treasure for collectors.

I like these kind of 60ies watches. I could see this one on the wrist of commissaire Swan Laurence
Especially the reverse engraving. At 36mm it’s also good on the wrist under a shirt cuff. Sadly, finding a clean dial is becoming more difficult.
very crisp condition. I wear it regularly. mostly in summer with a bit of a tan its perfect.
I'm curious to know, how your idea is going to be transformed into a picture, commissaire Nico...
Somehow I was under the impression you knew someone, who ownes that French masterpiece known as Facel Vega and would take a picture in his/her car My mistake. Volvo P1800 will do just as fine.
