In a heartwarming post, takman, also known as Chris, shares the unexpected arrival of his first child, a baby girl, two weeks ahead of schedule. This personal milestone, marked by the watch he happened to be wearing, sparks a broader discussion within the community about the timepieces chosen for life's most momentous occasions. Chris's experience underscores how life's most significant events often unfold unpredictably, making the watches we wear in those moments all the more meaningful.

Awesome news and a big congratulations. Can't go wrong with your beautiful watch. Be prepared to not sleep soon
You are in good company wearing a round JLC for the birth of your first! (Me, leaving the hospital):
Your world is about to flip upside down but in a great way!! I cannot even remember which watch I was wearing. I was just so focused on being there for my wife and praying that my kids were healthy. I do recall listening to my favorite artist when they were born and the song being “I saw God today” by the great George Strait
And I would say, a thoroughly appropriate timepiece to mark the super-special occasion.... Sincere congratulations, Filip
I know how that goes. We went to the OB/GYN and were told "you have a couple more weeks easily" Well, that night we were in the hospital with a newborn son. Once you become a parent and obviously even before, nothing goes according to plan.
The birth of a child is such a blessing. Many wonderful memories are yet to be made for you and your young family. May the years ahead be filled with joy and good health.
