KIH's report from the Jaeger-LeCoultre 'Art of Enamel' exhibition in Shinjuku provides a rare glimpse into the brand's mastery of decorative arts. This post not only showcases exquisite enamel dials on Reverso Eclipse and Minute Repeater models but also introduces the new JLC Japan CEO, Mr. Stefano Bossi, highlighting the brand's commitment to both heritage and regional leadership. The accompanying images and video offer a detailed look at these horological masterpieces.

There was an exhibition at one of the largest department store (Isetan in Shinjuku) of the Art of Enamel of JLC, where I met for the first time the new Brand CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre Japan, Mr. Stefano Bossi.  He is a very polite, fluent in Japanese, and friendly gentleman.  I look forward to the interaction with him going forward here.

If you have time, please see this event report as well.

Now the enamel masterpieces on display today...

Reverso Eclipse Series

Minute Repeater Series

Wow...

Crystal Gong....

Now the sound...(sorry for the background noise, but try to ignore... smile)

And I also was able to see the Rendez-Vous series in person.  Night and Day.

A bit smaller version in PG case.

Very nice for ladies, I am sure.

Thank you, Mr. Bossi, and Mr. Nagai (and Casey - your Photography Forum Moderator - who I went there with.

One detail I regret on the Enameled MMRs... The writings on such nice dials, and the hole which let see the hammers. Otherwise, I am captivated by the work of the JLC Master Enameler. Poetry in watches. Best, Nicolas

... at 00:06 and 00:15sec. Too bad... sound feel strangled. It would have been nicer and more adequate for a such a watch if the case was thinner. I agree about the wholes in the dial that show the hammers. Such a shame to touch the purity of such a dial. Besides that, i'm starting to love enamel dials more and more

Especially Reverso a Eclipses with Francois Gerard painting Cupid and Psyche from Famous Nudes serie. This model I didn't see before as all live photos of 8 themes from Famous Nudes is quite rare. Nice catch )
