Friends,

Last November a group of PuristS was invited to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique in London on Bond Street.

Great hospitality and interesting watches was shown us for several hours!

Here are a few highlights from that visit;

Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Moon in Platinum

Limited Edition of 75 pieces. 42mm in diameter and 14.3mm thick.

The contrast between the silver grained dial, the gold hands and numerals and the deep blue night sky with the golden moon is amazing.

Only to be overpowered by the hypnotic Sphérotourbillon!

The open case back gives a stunning view of the movement with the double barrels.

The exquisite finish makes you forget the big piece of Platinum the holds the movement...!

Duomètre Sphérotourbillon in White Gold

Here the dark blue dial gives the watch a completely different look from the first Sphérotourbillon shown here.

Of course, the diamonds make this watch stand out in a crowd much more than the Moon…

The jewellery work is top class, but personally I would prefer the Moon version.

But from the back it is hard to tell the two apart…

Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon in Platinum

Another hypnotic three-dimensional tourbillon!

I much prefer this one over the previous Reverso Gyrotourbillon.

Now the dimensions are closer to an everyday watch: 51.1 x 31mm, 12.4mm thick.

Notice the second’s track? Brilliant!

The backside is not easy to read…

But then again, who cares when looking at the beautiful skeletonized movement?!

Again, notice the second’s track and also the way JLC “cut” into the classic three lines at the bottom to give room for the tourbillon.

OK, I think I need to stop here. Will come back with more photos from this visit!

A huge thank you to Joe and Nilo for arranging this visit and an even bigger thank you to the team at the Jaeger-LeCoultre London Boutique for having us!

Best

Blomman

The Duometres are very desirable. Definitely. Even if...

My favorites are the Chronographe, the UTT and the QL Enamel. As for the Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon, compared to the Gyro 2, it is more mature, more accomplished. A masterpiece to discover, or re discover. Seeing them in the metal is an unforgettable experience. Thanks for the post, my friend. Best, Nicolas

Yes, the Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon is ...

Much more mature and refined! When it comes to the Duometre, my "humane" favorited is the Chronograph, Rose Gold / white dial. But in my dreams, this Sphero Moon get the honour! Best, my friend Blomman
