Amanico presents live pictures and a detailed overview of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire in rose gold with a grey magnetite dial. Limited to 60 pieces, this version stands out for its unique dial color, new indices, and hand shapes, offering a fascinating hue that shifts with light.
Limited to 60 pieces, the true specificity of this version is the dial. Not that it is partially open, as it has been already been done, especially the first version of the " Q.L ", but the color of the dial, the new indices of the dial dedicated to time, and the new shape of the hands.
Like the two other grey magnetite dials, the Chronographe and the Spherotourbillon, the dial, depending on the light conditions, can turn into a light brown, and works quite well with the rose gold case.
This hue is quite fascinating.
Not my favorite version, though. I much prefer plain dials, on the Duometres, and the enameled version stole my heart.
This Grey Magnetite dial / Rose Gold version has a classic 42 mm case, which is 13, 6 mm high.
And of course, it houses the Cal 381. The specificity of this movement is that one of the two barrels and its gear train is dedicated to the balance wheel, not to the time, and the second is dedicated to the date, moon phase and the time. And, last but not least, the two seconds ( diablotine and central second ) hack and reset to zero when pulling and pushing the crown.
A Duometre dedicated to... Accuracy.
Best,
Nicolas
