amanico presents a comparative visual study of three Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire models, showcasing their distinct characteristics and design evolution. He invites readers to share their preferences among the White Gold Black Dial, White Gold Enamel, and Rose Gold Magnetite Grey dial versions, offering his own insights into what makes each unique.

The White Gold Black Dial was released in a limited edition of 200 pieces, in 2011. The case is 42 mm big.

The White gold Enamel dial is a limited edition to 200 pieces, too. It was unveiled in 2014. It case is 40, 5 mm big.

The last one was revealed in 2017, the Rose Gold Magnetite Grey. Not a limited edition, rather a limited production, with only 60 pieces.

Here, the three side by side, showing their differences and similarities...

The White Gold black dial version was a kind of love at first sight, for me. Till the white enameled dial version came. Since then I know this is the one I want.

The smaller case is very à propos for that dial. It enhances its natural elegance.

The Magnetite Grey is my less favorite, because of its partially open dial.  A pity, because the combination of the case and grey dial is awesome.

What about you?

Best,

Nicolas

I don't see it listed on the JLC website.

I can also try and ask in Paris tomorrow while passing by the boutique. It's incredible piece and enamel dial would be cherry on the cake (I prefer white metal, and closed dial one is available only in rose gold AFAIK).

To avoid any confusion, because they can also source one, even if it is discontinued... Best, Nicolas

I bought the white dial one new and it’s defiantly limited to 200 pieces, it’s been out of production for a long time intorduced in 2014 I think this version is the best of the bunch then the black dial. I personally do not like the openwork dials as much. The article below from HODINKEE tells all about it...Jim

That's the problem of having a preview a few weeks before... Sometimes, they change their mind. I will ask for a confirmation or infirmation.

The last piece was 200/200 and I saw it in person, I bought 195/200 at a better price...Jim
