Nicolas (amanico) presents a compelling dilemma for collectors: choosing between two distinct versions of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Quantième Lunaire in white gold. His original post invites the community to weigh in on the aesthetic and practical considerations of the black dial 42mm model versus the enamel dial 40.5mm model. This discussion highlights how subtle variations in dial material and case size profoundly impact a watch's character and collector appeal.

I believe I'd go with the enamel on that one, but it is rather difficult to make an informed choice without having the watch in front of you, as the ratio diameter/thickness of the case must come into consideration. If the watch is for you Nicolas, I'd definetely get the enamel as the black dial is pretty similar to the chronograph. All the best Nico
for purity & legibility. Size. You like white enamel as your missing Lange anniversary. You will appreciate longer with time running ;-)
Definitely black for me... this watch has a special place for me...
