Nicolas (amanico) shares fresh images of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre à Chronographe with a grey dial, a less common variant in platinum. He highlights the challenge of capturing its subtle beauty through photography, inviting the community to appreciate its unique aesthetic alongside other Duomètre iterations.

In platinum, as you may know, there are two dials. The White, quite rare, which was made around 50 pièces, and the Grey, which is not very common, either.

I often saw the Grey dial, made of platinum. I even read somewhere, that the dial only weighted 12 grams, in this configuration.

But I rarely took pictures of it.

Or when I did the outcome was quite poor.

In the real world, the grey dial is quite subtle, hard to take in picture.

Here is my attempt:

Still, my favourite remains the black dialed one with the white gold case, or the platinum case / white dial.

But this grey is far from being boring!

Best,

Nicolas.

The PT white one was a "boutique" edition wasn't it?

I remember I saw both several years ago and I was quite much more attracted by this whiter edition. Anyway, any of these two are great Duo à Chrono versions and I'm even not sure I would prefer the black one. Nice to see some pics again. Cheers, Mark

The killer for me would have been platinum case / black enameled dial. ;)

But I feel that the Duometre a Chrono I will get is the white gold black dial. For some psychological and aesthetical reasons. ;) Best, my dear Joe, and enjoy your beauty! Nicolas
