Team,

December 14th is a very important date to me.

I got married, 43 years ago if one ask, and my daughter was born at this same day (different year, of course).

To celebrate, my black dialed Duomètre arrived yesterday and today, the 14th, I took my first pictures of it.

To any non watch addict, my behavior can be called childish but I wake up early, just as a kid I did on the Christmas day, looking for my gifts.

Here are the first pictures of this gorgeous (IMHO) chronograph:

1) Against the sunrise

2) A wrist shot

3) Another angle

4) The fantastic (some may call it "steampunk") movement

5) A B&W shot

Now, I must decide what to do with the other Duomètre chronograph in pink gold. I don't think that I should keep it.

It looks that it go to get no wrist time, when compared with the black one!

Thanks for seeing.

Cheers,

Nilo

Three congratulations are in order then...

... the last for this amazing, words-can\'t-describe piece. One of my favorites - but that black dial just makes it stratospheric! Sublime pictures, and watch of course! Wear it in the best of health. Julian

Congratulations! What a way to celebrate a memorable and meaningful date.

Childish, maybe. But that's also true with this hobby. We cherish our watches with the same joy and emotion we have for our childhood toys.
