You all know the Tributes to Deep Sea Alarm US and the European version.

But you may have forgotten- or you will discover- the Red.

The Red is based on a Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm Europe, with two differences, the red alarm disc and the different wording on the case back.

Limited to three pieces, only one was sold for the Red Charity Auction which was held in Fall 2013, for the incredible sum of... 365 000 USD, while the two other watches are the property of the 2 gentlemen who customized it, MM Jonathan IRVE and Mark Newson.

These 3 pieces were added to the 959 TT Deep Sea Alarm Europe.

So, when we take an inventory of the TT DSAs, we should remember these 3 red pieces.

962 European, 359 American: 1321 pieces.

The Red is so close to the European and so different at the same time. A bit like a Red Rolex Daytona Paul Newman.

A love or hate piece, which fed some passionate discussions, 2 years ago.

Best,

Nicolas

Nice trio ...

The good (or great) - Europe version. The bad - The red or impossible one. The ugly (not so but I need to match the movie title) - The US version (way too much writing on the dial). Of course, I own "The Good"! Cheers, Nilo
