ArmisT, a respected member of the WatchProSite community, recently explored an alternative to traditional leather straps for his Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. His decision to opt for a black/grey canvas strap, initially considered for its versatility across multiple Reversos, sparked a discussion on aesthetics and material choices. This article delves into ArmisT's personal quest for the perfect strap and the community's insights on contrasting colors and strap materials.

Let us know when you get a car to match! I recommend this one. (My wife was somewhat ambivalent as the driveway was filling up)
Would you believe that I had saved a picture of this other Casa Fagliano strap and have been considering to order from them for a while. Price aside, the thing about straps ordered from CF is that they make them with cordovan leather, whereas I think I’d favor calf leather (like what we see in the JLC versions of Fagliano straps). Still, this color combination strap is sexy and sophisticated like these cars.👌🏽 Source: Casa Fagliano
the canvas strap appears muted.
scheme might be the one to go for.
but in the case of the burgundy I also felt that the original strap was a bit much in this color, and that some degree of contrast could be nice. Thank you for your comment.
not to necessarily have an uninteresting strap (which is debatable for this strap). I had considered the below alternative canvas strap which I initially liked a lot, but then thought it’s maybe too monotone again…maybe. Your above point about the glossy strap is also a very good one, thank you very much.🙏🏽 Source: JLC website
