No winding needed. How long have you owned it before it required servicing?
from a friend of mine about ten years ago and had it then serviced at an independent watchmaker. I don't know its earlier service history before me. The clock is manufactured in 1965. When I had it sent to the factory it really stopped running. The warranty of the service is three years.

I am happy of having it showing time again.
