Ambos shares his deep appreciation for the Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos clock, specifically highlighting a modern iteration inspired by Mies van der Rohe's Pavilion. His post serves as a visual ode to this unique horological marvel, prompting fellow enthusiasts to reflect on the Atmos's innovative technology and distinctive design. This piece explores the enduring appeal of a mechanism powered by atmospheric changes.

Dear fellow Purists
After having been back to Switzerland I finally managed to take some snapshots of my Beauty I usually only see once a year... Still in love as back then when I saw it for the first time! Always fascinated by Atmos' technology, but always felt 'too young' for it, until this ode to Mies van der Rohe's Pavilion... A modern composition of glas, brushed aluminium and carbon fibre literally housing a darkened caliber/ clock.
Enough said, thanks for watching!

It\'s almost like Alain Silberstein got his hands on an Atmos and started reworking it, then Richard Mille stole it away and made a few custom touches. I walk past my conventional moon phase/date Atmos every day, but seldom notice it. Thanks for the reminder, and the peek at yours. Cazalea

I thought the table was a wood floor, just a vast room with nothing but an atmos against the wall
