Amanico invites readers on a visual tour of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Heritage Gallery, showcasing a diverse array of Atmos clocks. This article highlights the enduring style and innovative designs of the Atmos, from classic models to modern collaborations, prompting collectors to consider their personal favorite from this iconic collection.

which colour though:)........seriously "any" Atmos would do me.....well, almost:) I love the majority of them for what they represent. I found your second picture interesting though, as, if my understanding is correct, the Atmos "lives" if there is a mouvement in temperature +/- of a degree, right! Your second picture shows an air conditioning control unit...funny! Your favourite doesn't show so well on my screen. Cheers, Francois
To try to get some better pictures, but the program was over busy... Next time: Ciao, my bee friend. Nicolas
The pre-LeCoultre Reutters are true gems from an aesthetic perspective. 1920's but yet so modern in their design that they can fit our contemporary homes easily. The 1950's-1990's versions are usually much more baroque, with their gilted frames, and not easy to integrate in modern homes. There is one example that stands out though, which you will be pleased (or shocked, as now you will want one) to learn that it has existed in nickel finish: According to some sources (but yet to be confirmed),
is one which got away many years ago..!! My dealer was closing one of their shops to concentrate on a busier store so was selling off a bit of stock and they were selling off this model for half price...ex display. I paused too long and somebody else bought it :( But I now have my transparant :) Did you get to see the new ball shaped one..? I do like that one..! Andy.
It is funny to see that, from my point of view, it can be compared to the latet Atmos For Hermes, or the slightly older Newson. 3 strong works of design. As for the Reutters, I totally agree with you. True masterpieces, strong elegance. Best, Nicolas, the one who wants one. ;)
I did see it in the flesh at the Geneva fair, in January, and was very impressed. Best, my friend. Nicolas. PS: You have sure taste!
