Amanico initiates a compelling discussion comparing two significant Jaeger-LeCoultre Amvox II models: the Black Concept and the Racing Paris Boutique Edition. He invites the community to weigh in on the aesthetic and conceptual differences between these unique timepieces, known for their innovative pivoting case chronograph pushers.
The Amvox2 represents Jaeger LeCoultre's approach to contemporary sports timing, offered here in the Steel Black series configuration. This 44mm reference positions itself as a substantial automatic chronograph within the Amvox2 collection, distinguished by its monochromatic steel and black dial treatment.
The 44mm steel case houses an automatic movement and features a black dial beneath sapphire crystal protection. Water resistance extends to 100 meters, while a fixed bezel completes the case architecture. The steel construction and automatic movement provide the mechanical foundation for this chronograph reference.
This Steel Black series Amvox2 appeals to collectors seeking a modern Jaeger LeCoultre sports chronograph with substantial wrist presence. The 44mm case diameter and black dial configuration offer a contemporary alternative within the Amvox2 range, providing automatic chronograph functionality in a steel sports watch format. The combination of size, materials, and dial treatment positions this reference for collectors focused on modern Jaeger LeCoultre sports complications.
The best AMVOX is the AMVOX2 Black Concept and second place to AMVOX2 Titanium version. Best Yiannis
Very unfortunately I have missed it in time, and I am still looking for one !.. Love appeal, concept and function, simply all - and a great design of Megali Metrailler .. Cheers & Best, hs
Now, the question is to guess which way JLC will take with its new sports line. Something very technical and quite expensive ala Extreme Lab II? Something much more affordable, but with which complication? Something without complication at all, just a working horse bullet proof? All of that? Round, square? End of the Compressor Series? So many questions, so few answers. Best, Nicolas
A good friend had the original black concept, traded it, missed it, bought his back! I saw it, newly decked out with the red stitch strap. Just lovely! So I have vacillated over these two pieces. My friend keeps reminding me that you had and sold the open dial piece. Keeping platinum. As you know I have the platinum Amvox1. So for an Amvox2 I want d the concept So which one? I am looking for the Paris boutique one. For a few reasons. I really like the waffle dial. I like the orange details, as s
Yes, I owned it, and was very happy when I bought it. Now, there are two things: 1/ I am reluctant to have two of the ( almost ) same watch. 2/ The PBE is eye catching. You immediately fall in love with it. But with time passing, I much prefer the more classic 1st generation. If I didn't have the platinum, I would have gone for the Black Concept. Now, I am very happy with the platinum, for its grey dial. Heavy yes, but ho pleasing! Best, Joe. Nicolas
Actually the Paris Edition WS is/was an uber-cool pic.. We\'ll take The tanned, hairy wrist with it ) Thx for this reminder, Cheers & Best, hs
