Nilomis shares his journey with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Amvox 2, a watch he initially hesitated to acquire due to maintenance concerns. His discovery of certified service availability transformed his perspective, leading him to embrace this innovative timepiece. Nilomis highlights the Amvox 2's lightweight titanium case and its unique chronograph innovations, inviting the community to appreciate its distinctive design and technical prowess.

Team,

That was my second Amvox and took time to decide because of maintenance concerns.

Those maintenance concerns were solved when I learn that the Manufacture has a certified (for Amvox 2) maintenance here.

This information opened a can of worms or, better, a can of Amvox 2.

Here's my first Amvox 2.

The 44mm case is almost imperceptible because of the lightweight of the titanium case

A fantastic work from JLC. I don't know any chronograph that carries so many innovations.

In B&W noticing the chronograph sub dials (that has lume on it!).

Thanks for seeing.

Cheers,

Nilo

About the Jaeger LeCoultre Amvox2 Ref. AMVOX2

The Amvox2 represents Jaeger LeCoultre's approach to contemporary sports timing, offered here in the Steel Black series configuration. This 44mm reference positions itself as a substantial automatic chronograph within the Amvox2 collection, distinguished by its monochromatic steel and black dial treatment.

The 44mm steel case houses an automatic movement and features a black dial beneath sapphire crystal protection. Water resistance extends to 100 meters, while a fixed bezel completes the case architecture. The steel construction and automatic movement provide the mechanical foundation for this chronograph reference.

This Steel Black series Amvox2 appeals to collectors seeking a modern Jaeger LeCoultre sports chronograph with substantial wrist presence. The 44mm case diameter and black dial configuration offer a contemporary alternative within the Amvox2 range, providing automatic chronograph functionality in a steel sports watch format. The combination of size, materials, and dial treatment positions this reference for collectors focused on modern Jaeger LeCoultre sports complications.

The manufactures (in general) forgot about innovation? I'm a bit tired of "vintage" lume re editions. Cheers, Nilo

I agree, enough with the zombie watches. If 1960s watch designers were so paralyzed with fear of failure and taken by the unchallenging ease of nostalgia-plays, they would have pandered to **that era's** vintage snobs with pocket watches designed to recall the 1920s, and the Polaris 1968 would not have been born! And the Amvox2 wasn't an MSRP $100,000 U.S. watch, either! I think the last listed price roughly six years ago was about $16,000, and the watch cost even less on debut in 2006. Today a

For all of the above Amanico... but how much longer do we have to wait JLC? I’m getting tired and loosing hope so hopefully they give us something soon to wake me and all of us up again. Bring on some serious excitement, innovation, madness and creativity asap!

I really hope so and even if there is nothing before 2019, some communication or source of info around what JLC are developing would be cool. We need something ASAP.
