These are the people whom make the week long event happened! (Those in white robes are IWC Watchmakers!) One of the TEAM behind the week long event The other TEAM from the Sincere Watch The Dynamic Duo - Vivian & Connie of IWC Kurt Klaus With Connie Celebration of Job Well Done !!! on the evening that we attended. He wanted us to "FEEL" what it was like to be a watchmaker even if for a few minutes compared to his lifetime. In the Dark Times (1970s-1980s) the Swiss mechanical watch industry cut it's workforce by nearly 80% in months. Factories were on 4-day weeks to save on wages. Herr Klaus would ask for the keys to the factory to go in on the 5th day (in his own time) to work on developing the movement that made him and IWC famous again........THAT is passion! Regards, MT
