Amanico shares his admiration for the IWC Portuguese line, focusing on the Ref. 5445 with its manual winding Caliber 98295. He highlights its aesthetic appeal, particularly the superb dial and pleasant movement, while also noting his personal reservation about its 44mm diameter. His detailed photos invite the community to appreciate this specific reference.

I always admired the Portuguese, from the original to the re edition in the 90's, without forgetting the 7 Days in the early 2000's.

Here is a more recent one which is worth some consideration: Manual winding movement ( Cal 98295  wink with a decent power reserve, and which is pleasant to the eye, a superb dial... without date, and a nice case, even if I find it a tad too big with its 44 mm diameter, a feeling enhanced by the fact that it is not too thick ( circa 10 mm ).

Some pictures I could recently take:

If it wasn't that big in diameter, it would have already been on my wrist!

Best,

Nicolas

There is always the Jubilée to get, but less easy to find... [nt]

Yes, even on the wrist, it is pleasant to see. But in the ideal I would have preferred 2 or 3 mm smaller. Too bad, because what a look! [nt]
