Hello dear friends!!
I realized that I don’t post in this IWC forum frequently but it doesn’t mean I don’t love the brand.
As a matter of fact I own several IWC watches which I enjoy wearing so much.
Past week I was delighted to receive the call of my friendly watch shop advising me that the watch I had ordered had arrived.
This model was launched in W&W 2023 and I fell in love with it as soon as I viewed the pictures.
I die for salmon dials in contrast with a white metal case (steel here) and I tried to get one since it’s launching.
Not easy in my Country lacking an official representation of the brand.
But patience pays and the watch is already on my wrist.
I’m enclosing some shots here taken during the weekend as the watch has remained on my wrist since past week and still there.
As I’m not fond of deployant clasps I found the one on this watch specially annoying with its double folding (though I admit the clasp and leather strap is beautifully made and very elegant).
So after a few days wearing it I replaced the straps for a leather set with ardillon buckle.
This may feel an heresy for some IWC lovers but it gave me much comfort and a more casual/informal look to the watch for my daily use.
I’m really delighted with this watch and it’s classic and elegant looks even with the replaced straps.
Thank you so much for viewing.
Best cordial regards
Abel
