it has been my grail watch for more than two decades. I even made a short trip to Milano to get the right one. Not everything offered in the internet as โ€œunwornโ€ or โ€œlike newโ€ stands up to closer examination... It took me some time... Best Thomas

Well worth the hunt, travel and wait !! Love the Portugieser myself, went for the 7 day with slate grey dial

I like that the date window has the same colour as the dial. Is this the later version with already two barrels? Best Thomas

Thnx MTR, no this is the 1st version movement cal 51011. During a later service IWC did change the metal winding pawls for ceramic onces for less friction and wear. It runs great and within 0 - +7 sec p/d

but i did read the 2 barrel has even better specs. But this particular model in WG is out of cellection as fas as i know.
