Last month IWC opened its first stand-alone boutique in Kuala Lumpur, located in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and operated by the Valiram Group. The guest of honour was Ronan Keating, a "Friend of IWC" and also a collector of IWC watches. Guests were later treated to a Ronan Keating concert at the party held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Also in attendance was Georges Kern, CEO of IWC, demonstrating the importance of the country and region to IWC.

The boutique will offer several exclusive timepieces unavailable elsewhere. For those interested in visiting, the newly opened boutique is located at Level 3, Lot 3.40, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Thanks for the write-up SJX!

And btw, am I the only dolt who doesn't know who Ronan Keating is? I don't think I've ever heard one of his songs before. Cheers, Anthony

Well according to Wikipedia

He was formerly of "Boyzone" which apparently was a famous boy band of the nineties. He MUST be famous, after all he is a "Friend of IWC". - SJX This message has been edited by SJX on 2007-12-05 07:52:37
