my Moser Perpetual Purity yesterday and over midnight (change from February 28th to March 1st, 2022), it is now time for a turn to my beloved IWC Perpetual Calendar Rattrapante in Platinum again.

The date change over night was also completely uncomplicated on this marvel.
A real pleasure!

Attached is a quick wrist shot, only with the iPhone, on the way between two appointments.

A fascinating play of colors on a rather cold but sunny day, so I thought you might like it. ☺️

P.S.: Despite its complexity, this watch is very easy to use and can be controlled entirely via the winding crown. There is not a single corrector making a hole in the case.

I often thought of it as somewhat dated over the years, but the last three or four years I’m really seeing the beauty in these. I think some of it is in the fact that it’s got a really strong visual impact, a personality. In a sea of ordinary this one really stands out.

It’s indeed a great pleasure and love!! And my longest hunt. It took me 25 years to find the right specimen in best (unworn) condition.
