Kong offers an exclusive look at five IWC Boutique Exclusive pieces, highlighting their limited production and unique features. This post provides a detailed overview of models like the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar and the Ingenieur Automatic Carbon Performance Ceramic, emphasizing their design, materials, and movements.

Regular production pieces are more accessible in either boutiques or authorised dealers.  However, boutique exclusive pieces are only available in brands' boutiques and are limited number of pieces in production.  Within this post, we will have a quick look at five of the more current IWC Boutique Exclusive pieces ...

Superb clarity as the convex sapphire crystal is both sides anti-reflective coated.

Case work is with dual-polishing, with the side of the caseband brush-polished while the rest in contrasting gloss-polish.

Case diameter is 46mm by 14.5mm height and has a water-resistant rated to 12bars.

The whole case construction is interesting, made up of three types of materials : carbon fibre, ceramic and titanium.

Starting from the top .... the bezel is of polished ceramic, secured by five titanium screws and capped with ceramic screw-heads through the polished top side carbon fibre caseband.

The dial is of carbon fibre too.

A side elevation for the impressive construction ...

The matt crown protector and screw-in crown are also of ceramic too.

Look at the precise polishing to obtain the gloss top surface carbon fibre with the sides still showing the layered fibres.

Ceramic screw-heads ...

Flat sapphire crystal with both sides anti-reflective coated for fantastic glare reduction thus great clarity of the dial.

Titanium ardillon buckle and rubber strap with embossed calfskin inlay strap stitched with green thread as an allusion to the stripes on the outer walls of the tyres fitted to the cars for racing in wet condition.

Sapphire caseback with titanium case-back ring displaying the 4Hz automatic IWC-manufactured calibre 80110 with a power reserve of 44 hours.

My wife give it to me. I went to the Boutique to grab my new Aquatimer Automatic with my wife and she saw the "Prince". Her single comment was "What a beauty. You must own it" and ... Done. I'm sure that I made "a monster". This is the second watch that she give to me. Cheers, Nilo

Congrats Nilo. Your wife is understanding and treats you like her Prince. For 2 pieces, did you reciprocate with something? :-) Thanks for sharing your 'Le Petit Prince', the blue dial looks very good and deep under daylight. Kong

I'm sure your Le Petite Prince to your wife. That's why she got you that watch, to remind you of whom you are to her. Her attractive little Prince. You're a lucky man Nilo.
