... and certainly do not match the massive design of the rest. Other than that, well, they leave me rather unimpressed. there is no spontaneous affection like I had for some of the predecessing models. Marcus
Having had about a dozen Aquatimers, I see no compelling reason (yet) to have another. It seems like they are going through the motions but not finding the mark. Cazalea
most contain the stripped down version of the cal 89360/1 movements -- so the 89365 movement. for the third year running, we have IWC putting the same movements in different cases - so yes time for some proper innovation. size wise, given their sales, while they are not for everyone, the sales numbers for their pilots show clearly they are for some one. not so for the Ingenieurs last year clearly given market sentiment and numbers. so the Aquatimers ? I like the Deep 3 and the AT 2000 very much.
I wasn't aware of IWC building an inhouse chronograph movement that copies layout and proportions so faithfully from the Valjoux 7750. Marcus
