Kong unveils Hublot's 2013 limited edition Classic Fusion Mykonos chronographs, celebrating the iconic Greek island. These two new models, crafted in Hublot's exclusive King Gold or a two-tone titanium and gold combination, continue the theme of blue and white with a subtle Mykonos windmill motif. This release showcases Hublot's dedication to creating exclusive timepieces that capture the essence of luxury destinations.

Following on from the glowing success of the first Classic Fusion Mykonos limited edition created by Hublot in 2012 with its partner and Greek friend Flamme Hellas and Gofas in Mykonos, the luxury Swiss watch brand is unveiling two new models for summer 2013: even more precious, crafted entirely from gold or two-colour titanium and gold, like the surface of the sea which shimmers like gold under the Mykonos sun...

Greece. Summer. The Cyclades Archipelago. Mykonos, without question the archetypal Greek island. The famous windmills…Keeping with the theme of blue and white, and again featuring this discreet, elegant little windmill – the symbol of Mykonos – at its heart, these two chic sports models are 45 mm in diameter and equipped with a chronograph movement with a date, 280 components, 59 jewels, and a 42-hour power reserve.

The case for the gold version of the watch is made from a very special red gold – King Gold – which is exclusive to Hublot, an 18K gold with 5% platinum added to give it its intense red colour and make it even more precious. The two-colour version sees gold paired with titanium, prized for its lightness, shock-resistance and its extreme resistance to corrosion.

Finally, the famous dial, blue like the Greek waters, the signature of Hublot Mykonos watches, this time sports gold coloured indexes and counters which further reinforce the illusion of the shimmering sun-kissed surface of the sea. This ensemble is completed with a tone on tone strap featuring blue alligator leather sewn onto black rubber for better resistance and comfortable flexibility. Water resistant to 50 metres.

These two limited editions represent a link between the earth and the sea. A true fusion of the elements. Only 10 numbered pieces are available for the King Gold 18K version and 25 numbered pieces are available for the two-colour version.

Exclusively available from the Gofas Boutique – Matogianni 43 846-00 Mykonos.
