JToddH introduces the Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Bansko Ski Resort Limited Edition, marking Hublot's partnership with Bulgaria's premier ski destination. This article highlights the watch's design, its connection to mountain culture, and the brand's strategic presence in luxury ski resorts worldwide.

Hublot announced its partnership with Bansko ski resort, the most prestigious ski resort in Bulgaria. Upon this occasion, the Swiss brand becomes the official timekeeper of the ski resort and launches a new limited edition: The Classic Fusion Aerofusion special edition Bansko.

Bansko, ranked among one of the top 10 ski destinations in the world and located on the north- eastern slopes of the Pirin mountains, boasts an incredible environment for mountains lovers: beautiful slopes, elegant luxury shops, an exceptional nightlife and many traditional restaurants known as “mehana”. Bansko was awarded the World Ski Award for Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort for 2017 and attracts visitors from across the globe to revel in the picturesque landscape.

This new partnership allows Hublot to strengthen its alliance with the most famous and prestigious international ski resorts and to confirm its relationship to the Mountain culture. Among others, Hublot has developed strong 360° partnerships with two renowned and leading luxury ski resorts: Courchevel 1850, in the French Alps and Zermatt, in the Swiss Alps. Hublot has opened a Chalet styled Boutique in both villages, released dedicated limited editions, Classic Fusion Chronograph Courchevel and Big Bang Zermatt, and has signed partnerships with iconic actors or venues affiliated with both ski resorts – Zermatt Tourism Office, Zermatt Unplugged Festival, ESF Courchevel 1850 and La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.

Bansko now joins the Hublot portfolio sharing the same ambition of the Swiss watch brand: being “the first, unique or totally different”.

The Bulgarian ski resort is now operating on Hublot time with the presence of Hublot clocks displayed in key areas such as the start station for the gondola lifts and in Hotel Kempinski’s Grand Arena Bansko. Hublot is also featured throughout the resort giant screens and proudly on the ski jackets of Ulen Ski School and Elite Ski School instructors. A premium selection of Hublot’s key watches are displayed in E&S boutique within Kempinski Hotel, where customers and Hublot aficionados can also discover the new Bansko limited edition.

The Classic Fusion Aerofusion special edition Bansko is housed in a titanium case with an intricate open worked dial with distinctive yellow chronograph hand and features the Bansko logo on the rear sapphire case-back. Showcasing the colors of a sunny ski afternoon, its blue alligator and rubber strap is stitched in the same distinctive yellow. Limited to just 25 pieces, this timepiece will be available exclusively at E&S Bansko and E&S Sofia.

Benoit Lecigne, Hublot Brand Director for Eastern Europe, France, Belux, United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia declared: “This partnership reflects the willingness of the brand to invest in the emerging markets of Central Europe and to hit the big time by establishing itself as the leader on our watch segment”.

At first glance i was shocked, one of my fav artists involved in a Hublot LE. Fortunately it's not. Nice titanium beast, Hublot is still a forerunner in "common" and new alloys

Those pictures are photoshopped right? I wonder why they didn't use an actual watch in the snow. Those pics looks bad.

Light direction looks accurate. Notice the watch is almost completely in shadow? Couldn’t imagine PS’ing and not show the piece in better light. In any case, I do know it is tough to shoot watches in the snow because the snow reflects the light and blows out watch. IMO, there’s no foul (or PS) here other than basic cleanup/editing. I do agree that the shots aren’t the best, nor do they accurately represent the watch. My 2 cents worth.
