Christianch's enthusiastic review of his Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire offers a refreshing perspective on a watch that challenges conventional luxury aesthetics. His detailed photos and personal experience highlight why this 42mm timepiece, often mistaken for a fashion watch by the uninitiated, has become his daily wearer. This article delves into the unique appeal and practical considerations of sapphire-cased watches, as explored by Christianch and the WatchProSite community.

Most of us are victims of preprograming certain ideas about brands and off course the effects of “influencers”. Happy to see that you overcome the norm and you enjoy this youthful really unique(such an overused word), watch! It looks great on you, and I’m sure it brings a smile on your face when you look down your wrist. I’ll probably add one to my collection one day, but I’ll wait for your “field experience”, as far as reliability and accuracy goes… Enjoy!🥂
Looks great on your wrist, I think they offer a few other colors by now which is tempting. I suspect it's a photo monster
But last year, I rebooted my collection, selling many pieces and acquiring others. I now have 4 Hublot watches (2 Unico big bang 42mm, 2 spirit of big bang) and I can confirm your definition of "youthful" versus many classics that are a bit boring. The Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire at 42mm is unlike any watch I owned. Light, cool and no scratches 😁definitely a dream watch for me!
I think the best one (and probably the cheapest) is the transparent one and I think is more true to the sapphire than the coloured one but all are super cool and comfortable.
Congrats !!!! Me , i like it a lot, just like i like Hublot ( 1 BB unico, 1 mca 10 ,1 CF: all ALL Black) Grtz, Dom
I could have this as an only watch (maybe!) but as I don’t have the wallet or the wrists I will never know. Still, I enjoy looking at the great photos, thank you.
